Opening a bed and breakfast is more than often a pursuit of a career. For me, being an innkeeper just tugged at my heart. If asked why I wanted to open my home to travelers, I couldn't elaborate because I hadn't defined it for myself. It wasn't until I read, Making Room: Recovering the Tradition of Christian Hospitality that I understood my desire. Making your home into a business is one way to look at being an innkeeper; creating a peaceful retreat through Christian fellowship and hospitality is another. It's a professional ministry. I have met over 2,000 people all with different stories. It has been a blessing to share paths in our journeys and to share what we have with each traveler. When you're here, don't forget to ask to hear the story of how we were given this beautiful home.
